Russia’s head of the Committee on Energy, Pavel Zavalny, says he believes it will take at least 6 months to repair the Nord Stream pipeline:
“In his opinion, there are two ways to fix the damage: making a caisson (a watertight chamber used in underwater construction work or as a foundation – TASS), or hoisting the gas pipelines to the surface.”
Analyst Comment: 6 months means it would be at least March before gas flows could resume to Germany / Europe. Europe is now committed to a very brutal Winter that will decimate their economy and cause mass unrest.
