“Hundreds of the radical Nazis and right-wing extremists online are actually German domestic intelligence agents, and many of them may be responsible for ‘inciting hatred’ and even violence. These agents, who once needed to drink and directly socialize with members of the extreme right to gain information on their targets, are now running right-wing extremist accounts online in Germany.”
Analyst Comment: Expect to see this in the United States. The FBI continues to expand its investigations into DVEs (Domestic Violent Extremists), yet whistleblowers say the agency has more agents trying to find right-wing domestic terrorists then there are potential terrorists. Soon they will have to resort to manufacturing pretexts for arrests to justify the narrative and resource misapplication. The Whitmer plot is an example of manufacturing domestic terrorism, but it required many FBI informants and a lot of resources. Future operations will likely rely on entrapment over social media since the cost per arrest will be much lower. We will very likely also see a push for new legislation that criminalizes previously legal actions including expanding the definition of what is a threat. It will be framed as; the FBI needs new tools to help fight domestic terrorism and white supremacy. We may even see a public mobilization of the intelligence community to aid in the fight against domestic extremism. We are witnessing the early stages of a crackdown on political opposition.
